Setting the Scene:
Down a little side street in Northampton, and up the stairs, is Caminito, a small romantic restaurant that you might mistake for an authentic Argentinean steakhouse buried in the heart of Buenos Aries. The beef and chicken are free-range and cooked on a wood-fired grill just like the gauchose on the pampas cook them. The crust on the empanada, flaky, the spices savory. The fish is tender and fresh. On a Saturday evening, or a Thursday, even, if you wander by below the open patio you might hear laughter, you might hear stray notes from an acoustic guitar floating down from just inside Caminito. You might stop. You might stand an listen. But why stand there on the street below when you could climb the stairs and take the corner table on the patio? You could drink a glass of wine. You could eat a steak hot off the wood fired grill, cooked just so, with that intoxicating guitar being strummed so gently, on a little side street that feels like Buenos Aries.

To enjoy this same experience, either stop in or make your reservations now by filling out our quick request form
